Arif Durrani is the EMEA Executive Editor of Bloomberg Media Studios, the company’s global multimedia content studio. He has been a business journalist for the last two decades and was an established media and technology columnist before joining Bloomberg in 2015 to build its first branded content and commercial editorial operation in the region.
He has brought his experience running news desks and video teams for business publishers to content marketing, and Studios now services a robust client portfolio that spans business, technology, finance and luxury clients.
Aria Bendix is a Senior Reporter at Insider. She typically covers urban and environmental science, but her focus shifted in January when she began reporting exclusively on the novel coronavirus. Aria was previously an Assistant Editor at The Atlantic and an in-house journalist at New York University. She holds a bachelor's degree from Harvard and a Master of Fine Arts from The New School.
Laura Bicker is the BBC’s Seoul correspondent currently based in South Korea. Prior to this she was Washington correspondent and before that she was based in Glasgow, Scotland. Laura has worked in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Newcastle during her career at the BBC. News stories Laura has covered in recent years include Hurricane Irma, the mass shooting at the Route 91 Harvest music festival, the Harvey Weinstein scandal and, in her time in Seoul, everything from the Trump-Kim summit to women’s rights.
The Asia editor for The New York Times is one of the biggest jobs here, overseeing some of our most important stories over an enormous swath of the planet. So with Phil Pan moving on to his next assignment (to be announced soon), there was a moment of anxiety. Who could step in as his replacement?

As deputy Business editor, Adrienne has been a partner with International for years, working seamlessly to cover everything from Brexit to China’s rising global influence, from Venezuela’s collapse to the crash of two Boeing 737 Max passenger jets. She was a force in helping to produce our China Rules special report last year, has honchoed much of the Boeing coverage since the two jets crashed and helped shepherd a signature series on Chinese health care.
Adrienne joins International with deep knowledge about finance and economics — just what we need as we continue working to break down traditional coverage walls tied to print sections of the paper. Mindy Massucci is the head of global content for QuickTake by Bloomberg, a global social-first news brand. In her role she oversees the editorial strategy for the network and leads a team of more than 80 editors, producers and social media curators. For the past seven years, Mindy was the head of global production, programming and operations for Bloomberg Television, overseeing a team of over 200 people across Bloomberg's media hubs in New York, Washington, San Francisco, Sydney, Hong Kong, Dubai and London.
With over 20 years of broadcast operations and production experience, Mindy has been instrumental to Bloomberg Television's ability to leverage its extensive resources of intelligence, data and and analysis across the company for its broadcast programming. She began her Bloomberg career as a desk assistant, quickly moving up the ladder to become the head of the assignment desk and then the head of global operations. Prior to her time at Bloomberg, Mindy worked at CNN and Fox News Channel. She is a graduate of East Stroudsburg University with a degree in Mass Communication and Technology.
